Weybourne Village

Weybourne Village & Coastal Setting
Weybourne Village Hall is located in the heart of the North Norfolk coastal village of Weybourne on the Deep History Coast, near Kelling Heath and set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Weybourne is home to pretty flint cottages and narrow winding roads.
In the grounds of the 15th century All Saints Church are the ruins of an Augustinian priory; a former windmill makes a well-known landmark on the Sheringham side of Weybourne.
The village is the home of the UK’s largest privately owned working military collection, The Muckleburgh Collection, which is home to over 150 artillery pieces, tanks and vehicles.
Weybourne is the mid-point on the North Norfolk Railway line, so you can hop on and off the heritage steam trains at Weybourne Station and ride to Holt and Sheringham along the renowned ‘Poppy Line’.
Surrounding Weybourne are two AONBs, Muckleburgh Hill and Kelling Heath. The heath has a network of paths and amazing views of the surrounding area. The National Trust’s Sheringham Park, designed by Humphrey Repton with its majestic displays of rhododendrons, azaleas, rare trees and mature woodlands as well as fantastic coastal views, is an easy walk from Weybourne.
Weybourne has a shingle beach with a backdrop of cliffs running eastwards to Sheringham, and west to Blakeney Point. A three-mile walk along the cliff top will take you to Sheringham beach. The deep waters at Weybourne make it popular with beach anglers too.
