Regular Groups & Clubs
Our regular user groups are an important part of life at Weybourne Village Hall, helping to create a busy and welcoming community space throughout the year. The hall is home to a variety of clubs, classes, and activities that meet on a weekly or regular basis.
This page provides information for existing groups as well as those interested in becoming a regular user of the hall. If you are considering starting a new group or activity, we would be pleased to hear from you and discuss availability.

It’s fun, it’s free, it’s for children of all ages and their families.

Messy Church is a church for all ages to worship together. It’s a great way for children and families to learn about God’s wonderful message for us all. Messy Church is led by members of the Weybourne Group of Parishes and Weybourne Methodist Church. We have fun being creative, playing games, hearing Bible Stories, taking part in worship and enjoying a meal together. It’s an opportunity to meet old and new friends and have fun.

Or just turn up. You’ll be made very welcome.
Posner Table Tennis
EVERY TUESDAY 10am – 12pm
The Posner Table Tennis Club is based in Weybourne Village Hall and plays on Tuesday mornings between 10-12 noon throughout the year. The name Posner derives from on the of the founding members, the late Norman Posner – regular table tennis is played!
It is a long established privately run club which is friendly and welcoming and offers a good standard of table tennis. We have a membership of mixed ability consisting of mainly locally retired people. Current membership is 20 comprising 12 men and 8 ladies but it is rare that all turn up on the same day. Since re-starting this July after the Covid break, we have been averaging 9 but expect this to climb during Autumn and Winter.
We usually operate with 3 tables but do have a 4th table, if especially busy. The vast majority of games played are doubles and we endeavour to mix up players so we achieve a good balance of play. Occasionally, singles games may be played depending on the numbers that day. Matches are classed as competitive but friendly and we play one set with the winners being first to 21 points by 2 clear points.
For those members who enjoy a truly competitive game, we sometimes arrange a match with the High Kelling Table Tennis Club which both clubs enjoy.
We generally stop for 20 minutes mid-session to enjoy a drink of tea / coffee and biscuits which is provided by the club. It gives members a chance to have a chat and get their breath back! Continuing on the social front we normally arrange for members / partners to attend a Christmas Lunch usually held on a Tuesday in early December at a local restaurant. These always go down well.
We are currently looking for potential new members and invite people to come along and “try before you buy” where they can play for up to 1 month before a decision is made about joining. All a visitor / potential new member has to pay in the first month trial period is £2 per session. If they do join the club, they will be asked to pay an annual membership fee of £12 plus a £2 fee each time they play.
Anyone interested in joining is welcome to contact Clive Barstow on 01263 823054.
Wednesday Table Tennis Club
This group meets every Wednesday from 9.30 to 11.30am in Weybourne Village Hall.
We have four tables available and about 15 members, with a good mix of men and women. Many of us are retired and enjoy the social benefit of meeting others. The standard of play varies from average to some very good games.
The games are not quiet! On entering the Hall you would hear squeals of delight, groans of despair but above all the sound of happy laughter.
A few years ago Angela Ripon (BBC TV) researched the way to keep fit as we age. Playing Table Tennis was the second best way (after Ballroom dancing.) It helps you to keep fit, stay alert and increase social contact. It will improve your agility, flexibility, balance, concentration, social mixing and you can improve your game quite quickly.
So, if you are free on a Wednesday morning, have played the game at school or in the past, want to meet others and have a good time, please make contact. We are open to players of all ages.
If you are interested please contact Phil on 07799 500278 or
